I attended this year’s Western Foodservice and Hospitality Expo yesterday and had the privilege of watching a cooking demo by Border Grill’s Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger. I remember learning how to chop an onion from watching them on Too Hot Tamales as a kid!
They were both presented with the first ever Torch Award for their work in the restaurant and food industry. I salute these women chef entreprenuers and respect women like them for being trailblazers in a male dominated profession. Their wise words and success stories are truly inspiring. Well deserved.
